Effective 2026-09-08
These terms are the agreement between you and ProofHour. Please read them — they are short, and they say what we each owe the other.
ProofHour is operated by Tolga Çağın, a sole trader (Şahıs Firması) based in Mersin, Türkiye. Full details are on the contact page.
ProofHour is software you install and run. It records the work you choose to record, and shares it with the clients you choose to share it with, on your instruction.
An account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself — anything done with your credentials is treated as done by you, so tell us promptly if you think someone else has them.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
Screenshots and work records can contain personal data belonging to your clients and other people who appear on your screen. For that data you are the controller and ProofHour is your processor, and the Data Processing Agreement forms part of these terms. Changes to it are announced the same way as changes to these terms, and every version stays readable at its own URL.
ProofHour is free for 30 days and asks for no credit card to start. After that it is $9.99 per month. Founding members keep that rate for as long as their subscription runs continuously.
Payments are taken by iyzico. When your trial ends without a subscription you can still read everything already in your account; what stops is recording new work.
Cancelling and refunds are covered on the refunds page, which is part of these terms.
You confirm that you are allowed to capture and to share what appears on your screen — including anything belonging to your clients, your employer, or other people. ProofHour photographs whatever is in front of you, and we have no way to know what that is or whose it is. If something must never be captured, the tools to prevent it are yours: stop tracking, delete a screenshot before anyone sees it, or add an application to the never-capture list in the desktop app.
You are also responsible for the invoices you issue through ProofHour — that they are accurate, and that you meet your own tax obligations on the money you bill. ProofHour formats a document; it does not file anything on your behalf.
You agree not to use ProofHour to:
ProofHour is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and we do not promise it always will be — there is no uptime guarantee, and we may change or withdraw features. If a change is significant we will tell you beforehand where we reasonably can.
Keeping your own copies of records that matter to you is worth doing. ProofHour lets you export everything, and you should.
To the extent the law allows, ProofHour is not liable for lost profits, lost business, or indirect or consequential loss; and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.
You can cancel your subscription or delete your account at any time. Deleting removes your work records, your evidence, and the invoices you issued — they are yours, not ours, so they go with you. Export first; deletion cannot be undone once the grace period has passed. What happens to each kind of data is set out in the privacy policy.
We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Where the circumstances allow it, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.
When these terms change they get a new effective date and are published at a new address; older versions stay online at theirs. If a change is significant, we will ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Mersin have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protections of the law where you live, or your right to bring a claim in your local courts.
Your work documented automatically. Reports and invoices from the same verified record. Keep 100% of what you earn.
